Hello, I am a school teacher in a small village near Aurillac, Cantal. In July, I will be retired and with my husband and son, we will settle permanently in Milltown, near Killarney, where we have bought a house. My son will be 15 years old and will be attending Killorglin Intermediate School. We began to settle in little by little each school holiday and got to know our neighbors who were very welcoming. I was a little apprehensive because I had read some fairly negative testimonies, but I imagine that like in France, life is different from one place to another, from one city to another and especially depending on whether you live in the city or in the countryside. First, I will acclimatize and concentrate on my son, then I hope to find an activity that will allow me to occupy my days.
