I went to Dublin to study and finish my BA in journalism. It wasn't my first choice but I ended up absolutely loving it. Living abroad taught me that anything is possible and I've pushed my limits, rediscovering myself every step of the way.
I'm a Quality Lead for a company called Voxpro, working for Google Nest. A completely different path to what I actually graduated from, but it's the beauty of Ireland and living in a different country...life comes and goes and experiences accumulate. I was a PR, a producer, a cameraman, a student, a music show host, a technical agent, now a Quality Lead. Re-invent yourself they say...it's fun I say.
The people, the culture, the music scene, the art scene, the people's determination to fight for what they believe. The history full of tragedy and yet! the Irish people stand tall and proud. The music scene is very indie. They get what they want by persevering and playing whenever they can, wherever. I admire that as they don't get too much into the music business side of things...the one rotten by money and celebrity. It's remarkable. The people are ever so kind. Opened minded, funny, friendly, talented. Such a great nation.
The weather is not so great, as one can imagine, but it's bearable. You get used to the rain, even though the lack of sun is strongly felt.

1997 - 2012

Grenoble, Rh么ne-Alpes, France

Ah. The longest of my stay. I grew in a small country town, between Grenoble and Lyon. Primary school, then off to boarding school for 7 years. Great memories. But my studies at college brought me to Paris and I stayed there for 3 years, before leaving to Ireland.
Student during the day, museum go-er during weekends and party girl at night.
France is such an amazing country. I've always told my friends that we should all visit our own country first, before going to other landscapes. France never disappoints. Each regions has its own culture, sometimes its own dialect, its own story and its own people. Fascinating to say the least. We tend to say that French people are very rude or snob...you just have to be stubborn enough to get to know them to really appreciate everything they have to offer.
The mentality can sometimes be tough to follow or agree upon. French people have their own opinion and it's sometimes black and white. No in between. They're set in their ways and I love and hate them for that. They're a proud nation.

I actually don't know much about Wallis & Futuna. I was born there and lived there for 2 years...before being given up for adoption. The only memories I have are the ones my adoptive mother collected and assembled in a photo album. Funnily enough, living in a connected world reconnected me with my biological family, as they found me on Facebook. I met them once and still am in contact with them. Life is a funny thing
