About

Hi all I have just accepted a 3 year contract with the University of the South Pacific in Suva so my wife and I will be there in 6 weeks!! Crazy times packing, selling, unpacking, more selling, even selling the Kombi (sob), but we are looking forward to the relocation with not too much fear. The Uni wil be putting us up for a while but I will be loooking for a safe, funky (maybe) rental house from mid May if anyone know of one coming up. I have a couple of questions - firstly I am a keen (if older) surfer - getting into the water here 2-3 times a week. Is there a surf club / bar / something that I can connect with to find some surfing partners in Fiji? Also we are considering bringing our two dogs (border collies) across despite the costs. has anyone had experience bringing dogs to Fiji and how do they fit in there? Many many more questions to come. We are looking forward to being part of the expat community there. Cheers Marty and Bron
