About

In May 2017, I taught English as a Second Language at the Future University (FUE) and earned the CELTA certificate (PASS). The range of student levels was wide, and I planned lessons with a variety of focuses and methods. In addition to adapted course book materials, I employed authentic texts to target student needs. For example, my intermediate group discovered grammar through prediction, using w/b analysis, while my elementary group practiced speaking through gamification activities and the use of the realia. I view teaching as an ongoing learning process, and my management experience at the banking sector as well as the international companies has developed in me invaluable teaching skills. I have learnt how to deal with different types of people, being flexible and adaptable. Through CELTA course I have learnt and acquired new skills such as knowing and addressing the needs of my students. Conducting TP on daily bases has improved my leadership abilities. Building a rapport, communicating effectively with the learners were among my key strengths, as being evaluated by my tutors.
