My friend Nicolas and I come from Ch芒teauroux, a small town in France where we stayed for 2 years for work but which we didn't like. Today we are planning to go abroad to learn English (important for our future professional life), and we have turned to New Zealand, a country that makes us dream. We would first like to take English lessons in a school (2 to 3 months) and then work or do Woofing to earn some money and travel at the same time. We would like general advice on the steps to think about, the schools that are reputable and not too expensive, the cities most suited to our situation with a reasonable lifestyle in terms of finances, etc.
