I arrived in Albania in 1997 with humanitarian aid. Subsequently, as an engineer I carried out projects in the civil water sector in Albania on behalf of the EU, the Italian Cooperation and other international banks. Drinking water supply, sewerage, purifiers etc, in the capital and in various Albanian cities. Since retiring in 2013, I have lived almost permanently in Albania where I have a partner, also a retired former pediatrician.
