Singer, accordionist and dancer, founder of the NADARA Gypsy Band, I first came to Romania in 1994 by train. When I returned to France, we decided with a group of French artists to found the company Croque Mule, and to go to Romania, and even to India in caravans pulled by mules. So I arrived in Romania with this company in 2000 after 4 years of adventures in France, Italy, Slovenia and Hungary to get there. We traveled by caravan throughout Romania after spending 11 months in a Roma community in Transylvania. On the occasion we created the Nadara cultural association to promote and promote the Roma culture of Transylvania and to promote understanding between it and other cultures. We spent three more years in Romania in a caravan, stopping in winter in Mizil, Poiana Varbilau and Ploiesti. With the company we went back to Italy but I missed Transylvania and its different cultures that coexist there terribly and I decided to come back. Since then I have been here more often than in France, my partner is Transylvanian and we have a little Franco/Romanian boy. With my group I had the chance to be chosen by Tony Gatlif to serve as his translator guide for his film Transylvania where I also played the role of Luminita and where Nadara produced part of the soundtrack. In February 2011 we also filmed in the film Sherlock Holmes 2 by Guy Ritchie with Jude Law.
