Ugh, it's a long story. I came to the United States two years ago with my husband because he got a scholarship to pursue his doctorate. Unfortunately, the relationship became terrible to the point that I decided to leave my home. Now I live in a Foundation for women victims of violence. My dream is to stay and complete my master's degree. I want to stay here because I feel very happy, safe and I like winter in the city I live in. I recently started dating a guy who is from T眉rkiye, two months ago he asked me to be his girlfriend and I have NEVER been so happy. It's hard for me to understand his culture a little, but I appreciate that he's not strict about it and that he's not religious. Many times he is surprised by my way of being, because from the Turkish culture to the Colombian one the difference is abysmal. However, our relationship so far is amazing and makes me very happy.
