Hello/Ia orana to All! Our little family (2+2 children aged 4 and 7) wants to settle in Moorea, the little sister of Tahiti :-) ...As a result, we spent 3 weeks in Tahiti (10 days) and Moorea (9 days). Our magnificent stay ended 2 days ago... :-( We arrived yesterday evening after 30 hours of travel (leaving our accommodation in Tahiti --> arrival home, 22 hours of flight, 1 stopover, then Paris--> Dilbeek, Belgium by car) ZZzzz My partner is convinced, this is where he wants to live! The children loved it (obviously... it was the holidays, the sea, the excursions, dogs and cats to pet everywhere :-P) and I'm still torn... Reading the experiences of certain expats on this site, I find a lot of similarities; everything is both so beautiful and so different from our modern city lifestyle. I'm going back to work in 2 days... I wonder if I'll be able to resume my routine without thinking about Moorea.
