hello, I'm not really a future expat. but my approach here is similar... in fact I have to go to Kota Kinabalu from October for around 2 months and as my children are small and can still miss school I am taking my family during this trip... I have to work at the military port and I am trying to know where to stay in relation to this place of work, the traffic in this city and its public transport in general... many other things...
