About
Telecom Engineer, during my career, during technical missions, I had the opportunity to work in around fifteen African countries, where I had to face the poverty of part of the population. As early as the 1980s, I had decided when I was freed from all constraints in France, that I would go and volunteer there, independently, because having worked with them in many countries, I do not have a high regard for NGOs. I was hesitant about which country to go to until the day I went to ACMIL in Antsirabe in 2001. The contact was such that I came in April 2007 to settle there. Since then, I have used my own funds to build lot II in Ivandry, a wash house, then in Boanamary (fokonotany of Ambatomalama) a well, 100 m away. from the EPP, plus toilets with a shower, plus a tank with a motor pump 1 km away, near a water reservoir, to make a school garden. I have been married for 10 years to a 71-year-old Malagasy woman, a former educational advisor at National Education, National Order of Merit, with whom I live like a 鈥渃oq en pate鈥. Every year, I pay plane tickets for one of my children so that he can come with his wife and children to discover this beautiful country.
