I liked working in DC, living in Virginia, the landscapes (especially in the fall and spring), the friendliness of the people, the store hours, the service, the courtesy, Oktober Fest, the diversity, the tolerance.
I hated the winter in the snow and the prejudices of some Americans compared to the French (the beret, the baguette under the arm, the bar of soap that lasts 10 years and the sleep!). I also suffered a little from the absence of bakeries, butchers, cr猫me fra卯che (I lived in Normandy!) and good Breton butter with salt crystals!!!
