Hello, I am a future retiree. My wife and I are planning to settle permanently in Mexico for our retirement (Playa Del Carmen - Akumal side). We really love this country and we spend our holidays there every year. We are planning a departure from France in 2020. In order to prepare for this change of life and make an informed decision, we would like to be advised. We want to buy an apartment and we have already contacted 2 real estate agencies online to find out the precise details. Apart from a few generalities, they did not respond to us. We only want to buy after having all the elements in hand to be sure that this dream is achievable. I think that for agencies, the act of purchasing (end of 2019 beginning of 2020) was too far away and not yet interesting. However, we have many questions and I hope that with your help in this forum, we will be able to answer them in part and definitively make our decision in which we cannot fail.
