Hello! My name is Dana, but most people call me Penny. I have worked at Head Start with ESL students in North Carolina for 2 years. I have also worked at summer camps as the art teacher for children from age 5-16 for many years in North Carolina, Florida, Oregon and in Switzerland. I planned and set out materials for children to explore their creative abilities in a fun, light hearted way.I have also done outdoor education with children from age 7-16. Schools would come visit our site in the Redwoods and California coast and we would take them camping and learn about nature, science and the wonders of the world around them. I backpacked through Europe for 7 months couch surfing and participating in workaway. I quickly fell in love with Romania and ended up getting a job here in Bucharest, Romania. And here I am! I would love to help others learn English and to find new opportunities.
