Hello everyone, My name is Pauline, I come from Brittany in France. I met my fianc茅, from Baltimore in the United States, when I was there as an au pair. We just got married on August 27 and today we are very happy to live together, after months of formalities. Now it's a completely different adventure than that of being an au pair that awaits me. In addition to being a young bride, I will have to integrate into a world that I have the impression of discovering with new eyes, those of an expatriate and more those of a tourist. It's a big change and it's scary, but life wouldn't be interesting without all these adventures... :) Kisses Pauline

I just got married to my husband who is American and originally from Baltimore. So for the moment the plans are quite simple, continue our life as a couple, move into a house as soon as we can, have a little baby... But for the moment, I am at the stage: Papers for the green card, and authorization to work...
At the moment I am not allowed to work.
I really like Hunt Valley, where we live and the city center port, coming from Brittany it makes me feel good to have a little corner of water nearby, even if it's not the ocean, it's already good :)
I don't know Baltimore well enough yet to say anything, I could just say, the fact of not knowing anyone apart from my husband, a few of his friends but who live far from us... so it's not easy every day...

I lived in Washington DC when I was an au pair. In a great family. I only thought about traveling in my free time to return to France with my head full of memories. But, life decided otherwise lol since I met my darling at the end of 2009, we got engaged and we have now been married since August 2011 and live in Baltimore!
I was an aupair there!
I really liked the city itself, the monuments, the architecture... And living with my host family was just great...
I didn't like driving around Washington and taking the bus at night when I had to go to my English classes. Otherwise nothing else!

My country, my region, my city that I have carried in my heart since my birth. I miss it a lot.
The sector I stayed in the longest after my studies was: Childcare. I was a nanny for 2 years in 3 families before leaving as an au pair, and I worked as a nanny again after returning from my year and a half as an au pair, for an agency in lots of different families. I also have a BEP in sales and a BAC STT ACTION COMMERCIALE, which allowed me to work from time to time in different types of stores.
My family, my friends, my region, the climate, the food, my French shows, the comedians, singers... Everything in it lol
Before I dreamed of going around the world, thinking that surely the grass was greener elsewhere lol. But in fact, I realized that in my life in France, there was nothing that I hated, I missed everything...
