I lived in German 20 years ago, for about 10 years. I met my wife there. She is Romanian. We were marrried in Frankfurt and lived in Nurenberg. Our daughter was also born there. She graduates college this May. With her finishing school my wife and I are wanting to return to Germany to live and retire. I would love to meet and talk to people who have made this journey already.
