I was born in London but grew up on the south coast of England. In my late twenties I moved back to central London and now live in Caerphilly, south east Wales. My career began in financial services, but soon moved into renewable energy. In London I began working with international private boarding schools, first pastorally in boarding, then in the school itself teaching iGCSE Information Technology and History. I am currently the Head of an Academic House and a History teacher for the highest performing private sixth form college in the United Kingdom. I like to travel, read, and learn about new cultures and the histories of the Middle East and Mediterranean.
