Hello All! I am an expat American who sailed to New Zealand with my husband and son. We spent the first year in La Paz on the Baja before crossing the Pacific and spending three years cruising the chains of islands in the South Pacific. I have a burning desire to spend four months in San Miguel to absorb the colors and culture. I need a place to work from May through August but dont know the ropes regarding renting or areas best suited to me. I was a middle school science teacher for 20 years in California before leaving the states. Any pointers would be so appreciated as its scary to do this kind of thing alone. Thanks, Kelley
