I live in the south of France. I am married and we have 3 daughters aged 3 to 11. I am the manager of 2 companies and work as an optician. I recently returned to school to become a hearing aid specialist. My wife, currently a banker, and I wish to leave for new horizons in order to allow our daughters to learn English and discover another culture. A 2-year experience in Vancouver particularly appeals to us. The only downside was finding work mainly for myself to provide for my family's needs. My wife does not speak English so we think it is impossible to find work except in a French company... our plan would be by 2021 to finish my current training. The ideal would be for me to be able to find a job as an optician, hearing aid specialist or salesperson in the field of optics. We are wondering about the cost of living (school, health, housing).
