I am interested in retiring to Belize. I am currently looking into homes and land in Belize to purchase and able to rent it out as a vacation rental. My goal right now is to start making money in Belize through rental property. I will be coming to Belize by the end of the year to check it out, and look at and hopefully buy a home, condo or land. I currently Live in Northern Nevada by Lake Tahoe. I have 7 years left before I can retire with the State of Nevada. Then my plans are to spend 6 months in Belize and 6 months in Tahoe for our retirement years. The winters here are just to cold for me anymore. Need a warmer climate for retirement. I am hoping that this expat forum can give me more insight to life in Belize. I do have many questions.
