I discovered Senegal at the age of 15 by participating in international solidarity projects: we went with associations for 2/3 weeks to Senegal to build a school/center... And discover the country, its cultures...聽 I immediately fell in love with this country, particularly thanks to the teranga. I made about a dozen trips. Then I went on civic service for 1 year to Saint Louis, to work in a social center.聽 During this trip, I met a man who has now been my husband of 5 years.聽 We wanted to stay in Senegal, but due to health problems during my first pregnancy, I returned to France in 2013. A few months later my husband joined me but we are only waiting for one thing, which is to leave again. We are going to take the plunge by selling our house in France, and I hope that we can secure a place for the next school year. However, the stress begins to mount. My husband wants to do import export, by importing second-hand materials from France to sell in Saint Louis, but I will need advice on what type of material is the most profitable, to have opinions and advice and contact with a freight forwarder if possible.聽 As for me, I would like to open small huts to make a guest house, also via Airbnb.聽 Are there any expat people on this site living in Saint Louis with whom I could start talking?
