My name is Franziska Luxh酶j, and I am from Austria. I grew up in a purely Austrian family, but always had this curiosity about other countries and cultures. During studying, I spent 3 exchange semesters abroad (USA, Italy, Denmark), and I have now lived abroad (in the Netherlands and Denmark) since 2007. My husband is Danish, and I have been in this international relationship since 2004. We have a son born in the Netherlands in 2013. In all these years, I have experienced the many up's and down's of moving around, being an expat partner and being in an international relationship. I have learned how to become more resilient, open-minded and truly curious. I have learned how to redefine myself as an authentic person in a different environment and make a foreign country my home. Upon returning to Denmark in 2016, after 5 years in the Netherlands, I have founded my own company Lighthill Coaching and made it my mission to support and empower expat partners to thrive abroad. To create the life they love in their new environment.
