I was born in Johore Bahru and my father was an engineer with a French rubber and palm oil company.
I went to Uplands School when it was based on Penang Hill.
I am an English teacher although I was a medical secretary/rep for many years prior to this.
I love Penang for the variety of food, the variety of people and its friendliness. If the world could see how well Penangites live together, it would be a better place.
I don't like the high rise apartments springing up everywhere. Thered been no though a out the impact and a majority of apartments aren't lived in.
