Came to do a project for my employer... the tax free dollars are hard to give up so contemplating extending my stay for a more permament role :D

Proximity to Europe!!! Its Cheap, well not for everything but CHEAPER than Sydney for sure!!!
Closed society, hard to make friends with locals but they are good fun loving sorts so I keep trying :)

Went to school in Canberra ... stayed in school for a verrryyyy loooong time, yes I took my time :D turned out ok though in the end.
I became a kangaroo while in Canberra, learned a lot about australia and the aussies ... made friends for life :D
I left canberra as a measly public servant :)
Nice place, nice life, but SLOW... live there only ONCE in life
The capital of Australia is a glorified country town! Yes those are paddocks you see when you land at Canberra Airport!
It can do with a few more ppl, and if you are not a fan of the cold weather, canberra's winter is not for you!!!
