Hi There , I am South African currently residing in Cape Town and will be relocating to Khobar in the nest 3 month. I am a business development specialist with 16 years of experience in the oil industry. I have 2 kids aged 12 and 8 who are currently in private schools in SA and are well grounded academically and partake in sport. As a potential non resident in Saudi, I will kindly appreciate any and all advice in terms of compound living : I have researched the internet however pictures donot always deliver an authentic vision. Reviews are quite mixed . Which are the compounds to consider coming from a very western country with freedom and family friendly. Info on networking events and where is best to make new friends. dawie good to hear other south africans around, he is in a remote site located in Hawiyyah , gas plant. not ideal for family living, we will be based in khobar on a compound. we get there in 3 weeks to the date and we also hoping for some cooler ... Read More
