About

Iam grew up in Delhi. At age 24 i moved to US for betetr or worse. I go back to India/Delhi often. The older The older I get the desire to return to Delhi more permanently grows stronger. However it is not easy to pull up my roots here in Minneapolis and move. I grew up in a government colony comprized of government employees of various status, but minimum education had to be High School Digree. The neighbourhood was civilized, clean and reasonably cultured. Even though I long to return to Delhi, Delhi today is not the same tranquil place. It is chocking with people, uncontolled growth, polution and above all hoard of uncultured brutish people. India/Delhi has generally been taken over by money, obtained by any meanse. India/Delhi failed to progress from a milder form of fudalism to a more equitable form of society.Instead it has become a country/city of harsher form of oligarchs and corruption. Yes It has made strides but only to select few. It has put me out of market to live in India. I find it will be cheaper to live in southern Italy than India. How obsceane it is to to pay $500 for a hotel room or $200 in for a meal in Delhi where a labourer only gets $2 for a days toil? wahat a progress!
