I was born in Memphis, TN but later moved to Mississippi then to Missouri but have been back in Mississippi for around 50 years. I am a retired school teacher which was my dream job. My husband has lived in Corozal back in the 90s. He is fluent in Spanish. We both love working with others and helping in any endeavor. We love traveling. We are simple people but have had the best life has to offer. That doesnt bring happiness to us. I can have dinner with the President or the homeless. We are looking for a sleepy little laid back town that will accept us and allow us to get involved with helping others. We have looked on site at houses and found several in Santa Rita Heights. We are wondering if that is a safe neighborhood? Also, is the humidity extremely high there? Where we live it gets 97%. We have children that are grown and married. Our only baby us a little fur baby (Maltese ) Se are visiting in January and hope to find some answers to our questions. We have been there before and love the little town,
