My expat journey

Lorraine, France
Mostly I was there to find myself, but also hoped to establish a few connections work-wise.
Management Consultant
People in Lorraine tend to be laid back and generally friendly, and I love the relaxed tempo of life there.
Stores being closed during the lunch hour, on Sundays and during holidays and vacations took quite a bit of acclimation on my part. It also wasn't the best place to be for my particular profession.

Bristol, England
Initiated business operations for a semiconductor company.
Controller
Bristol has a fantastic wine & food fair in the summer. I had a wonderful Meritage there that I regret not buying to this day because they didn't ship to the US.
Bradley Stoke was a little out of the way of anything interesting -- food, museums, night life, etc.
