I have recently retired and have been able to travel during my previous occupation. My wife speaks Spanish fluently, albeit with a Colombian dialect. During my travels, I have been able to pick up German, but have not been able to use it much in the last several years. We are dabbling with the expat lifestyle; however, we will only be starting it for a few months at a time to be able to determine where the best location will be. New. Exciting. Confusing.
