I am French and I have lived in Rome since June 2011. I work in publishing, remotely for France. My activity doesn't really give me the opportunity to meet Romans (originally or adopted like me). So through this site I am looking for a way to get in touch with people from diverse backgrounds to get to know each other, have fun times, exchange good tips, share our expat experiences, improve in Italian, etc. I love traveling (especially in Italy of course), cinema (which I sorely miss in this country which does not broadcast films in original version), dinners with friends, TV series evenings as much as chic outings, rebuilding the world around a mojito in a lounge bar or a "cappu al bar" (depending on the time ;), going to the market in Testaccio, strolling through the winding streets of the historic center in search of pretty little shops, good restaurants or... nothing, just for fun.
