I currently live in New Berlin, Wisconsin, USA and plan on retiring to San Bernardino, Paraguay together with my wife, Carol. We adopted a son in Paraguay in 1989 and have had a connection with the country for several years including forming a charity to help people in that country. We own a small home in Bernardino. We are motivated to retire there because of the lower cost of living. It also appears to be a safe place to live.
Interests: interested in computers, writing fiction, reading, international politics

Thanks for your response. We did retain a lawyer recommended by the US Embassy. In the end, the insurance company also defended us but they paid out the maximum of the policy which was 10,000 usd and we still had to pay another 10,000 usd. The ... Read More
