My late parents were immigrants from Germany and came to South Africa in the 1950s. Ive lived in Cape Town for 20 years, previously in Durban and Johannesburg. Im a Registered Nurse by profession and until recently worked in a Retirement facility. I got divorced a few years ago. I have 2 adult children- my son and his partner also live in Cape Town and have one baby daughter. My daughter lives in Elkton, Maryland with her husband. A year ago we started the IR-5 (Parent) Visa application and I was accepted and am flying to the USA on 01 April to live with my daughter and her husband. I hope to find both a job and make friends!
