I bought a house in Portugal in 2015, since then I have been coming for my holidays. Now retired, I would like to know what specific steps I must take to reside there all the time without necessarily having RNH status, it is not a question of taxes. I have Portuguese origins, my mother and my grandparents, expatriates in France before the war. They were never able to return to their native country and for a long time I had set myself the goal of coming back to live in Portugal with them, of course they are no longer in this world but still in my heart, moreover on my house I wrote their name on a plaque associated with mine.
