Good morning, I am a former entrepreneur, owner of a beauty centre, hairdresser and Covatech plates centre. I sold my business to 2 of my 7 employees in August 2019 because it had become too much for one person to run and I felt I had achieved my goal. As the owner, I have always taken care of everything that a small business needs: marketing, sales, consultancy, administration, order and supplier management, personnel management,... and active work in the cabin (medical history, face and body treatments with and without machinery, diode laser hair removal, manicure, aesthetic and curative pedicure, make up) Since May 2019 I have been an APEO BEAUTICIAN. That is, a qualified beautician who has obtained the Lombardy Region Certificate of Competence in "Wellbeing, Make-up and Treatment Blemishes", after having attended the 120-hour course promoted by the Professional Association of Oncological Aesthetics at the Ca' Granda Policlinico Foundation in Milan. During the course I received teachings regarding: the basic characteristics of the oncological disease, the main drugs used and their skin toxicities, radiotherapy and consequent skin damage, cosmetology suitable for the skin of the person undergoing therapy, psycho-oncology and specific massage techniques studied by physiotherapists expert in the oncology field. I can help people in therapy to take care of themselves in order to live the moment of illness with the best possible quality of life and I can follow them afterwards, throughout the entire period of maintenance therapy, to help them regain their well-being and their aesthetic appearance. I currently work at a pharmacy in Parabiago where I work as a beautician and in charge of selling cosmetics over the counter.
