About
Currently I have been based in Rennes for a year and a half after having worked for 12 years in Paris in theater, dubbing and a little cinema but more experimental then doing a reconversion in fashion design. I eventually continued to give workshops, direct and work as a press assistant for creators around the world. I lived for a year in Canada discovering alternative lifestyles, then traveled to Peru and worked in a surf hotel, I'm a fan of surfing! and finally to India where I lived in an ashram for a month.
There I found a job in a boutique selling high-end hats, gloves, umbrellas, made in France, Italy or Equador for panama hats. My goal is to return to cinema, to reinvent forms and a little voice has been pushing me for quite some time not towards Paris but...towards San Francisco!! Why??? I don't know a damn thing about it but I have complete confidence in her. I have expatriate family, mixed marriage, in Denver for 50 years, cousins 鈥嬧媤ho lived in California and a Mexican aunt who often made trips to Martinique/Miami for art objects. From the United States I only know the west side by bus from Seattle and these signs 鈥済o to water for our farms and our families!鈥 as well as the bido, cities seen in the suburbs of LA, but also Denver, Boulder, and New York where I stayed for a month couchsurfing in Brooklyn and Red Hook, but a city that I explored up and down, museums included and whose liveliness and diversity I appreciated but which for me has a too "tarmac" side which reminds me of Paris. I need water, fresh air, alternative culture and personal development, challenges.
For the moment, therefore, I would like to find out, take the pulse, if you have any advice, recommendations, experiences that you think you should share with me, I'm in! ah yes one of the things I like in Anglo-Saxon culture is the 鈥渄o it yourself鈥 but never alone side that there is in the United States and that I found in Canada: we are in the action: you have an idea: ok! your idea is dead!? It doesn't matter, you find another one! and you develop and you develop. I follow webinars on a site called Mindvalley for coaching, awareness, open-mindedness: that's what the west coast inspires me. I don't know if San Francisco is still this avant-garde? What do you think? jI don't think I'm wrong in saying that life is expensive, but I have confidence. Thank you in advance and we look forward to reading you. Good day!!
