We made it! Moved to Scotland in October 2020 to get my Scottish husband and kids settled before applying form my family visa. Thanks to the Pandemic, I was able to do this from within the country instead of returning to the US to apply. (Yay no family separation!) I'm in the "waiting period" Today is the 6 month benchmark, and I have my biometrics appointment next week. So should have my visa all settled in the next few weeks.

Interests: photography, Animal welfare. Various other causes and hobbies, graphic design, travel, the outdoors & nature. History, art

Hi all, My GF has been struggling to get a job in the Aberdeen area. Answers all the adverts now for cleaners and everything she can find but 0 answers. She is a EU citizen and has granted pre-settlement status. Understandable with this lockdown ...

I would also say, that I have found more jobs posted on actual websites, than in places like Indeed etc... Seems like a lot of smaller companies etc. aren't using the big sites to advertise. My best suggestion would be to research the ... Read More
