I was born in The Bronx, NY. I met my husband in Brooklyn. We married in 2013 and moved to Birmingham, AL in 2016. I am 55 years old. I am a fledgling writer as I have only been published online. I graduated with a BA in Anthropology in 2012. Obtaining a degree was for personal edification. Through Cultural Anthropology I can know where to look for subjects of the things I am writing.

Can you be legally married in Ghana if you are both from the USA? by Elleski

My husband and I had a ceremony in the United States in 2013 but did not register for a marriage license. Can we be legally married in Ghana? My ancestors on my Mother's side are Ashanti from Ghana. Does that help?

I don't care if my marriage is recognized in the USA. I'm not legally married here, just lawfully. This means I had a ceremony and witnesses. I don't feel the need to add to the assets of the US corporation further as I already have ... Read More
