I currently live in Centre, Al. with my husband Doug of 11 years, and three cats. We are both from Atlanta, Ga. Doug retired 10 years ago and we move to Weiss Lake in Al. I design and make hand beaded jewelry, and I'm also a Master Gardener. Doug fishes alot and works on his wood working projects among other things. We have three grown kids between the two of us and also have three cats. I no longer work but have a degree in Nuclear Medicine. We are looking to move to Roatan and are currently planning a trip to check out the area. Hopefully another couple will be joining us on the trip.

Hi, I'm new to the site and I'm looking for information on "living in Roatan" fulltime. Any info as far as year round weather (rainy season?) safety, banking,etc? All info is greatly apprectiated. BKB
