About
I have lived in Canada since I was born. My husband (to whom I have been married for over 6 years) lives in Morocco. He is 34 years old. I am older than my husband and Canadian Immigration refused his visa under false pretenses. My husband currently has a contract (with specialized training as a security guard in Abu Dhabi, Arab Emirates because the salary is more than 6 times what he had in Morocco). We are considering immigrating to Costa Rica (or Brazil) depending on living conditions and the exchange rates of Canadian money. I am new. I need your help regarding all the formalities to be completed for my husband (Moroccan) and me (Canadian) and the related costs. What are the conditions, do we have to prove the amount of money each person brings, a bank account? the value of the Canadian dollar compared to the Costa Rican currency; the cost of modest housing, work in hospitality/tourism for my husband who has a 2-year diploma in this field but only internships in this field. I would appreciate any help you can give me, especially from an expat-Canadian in Costa Rica. (I will also put information about myself regarding Brazil. Thank you very much, I need you because we no longer know where to go so that we can both live in peace and have good working conditions for my husband and life in general.
