About
Hi I'm a very young (soon to be) retiree and want to relocate to Chiang Mai. I am Scottish and Until recently I have been working in the UK as a Managing Director of a large organisation and as I have now been granted voluntary redundancy I am able to make some life choices. As I'm single then I am able to "up sticks" and move to wherever I like. I have a little experience of Thailand having had a few business meetings in BKK, I also know a little bit about The culture through training in Muay Thai. I think BKK would be too hectic for me so Chiang Mai might be more appropriate. My interests are playing lots of golf, keeping fit, reading, music and socialising...I will also be doing the occasional piece of short term consultancy work in Sydney. Any advice regarding my choice of Chiang Mai and how I might settle in would be much appreciated.
