my name is samo abbas, my nationality is Lebanese, I worked as a nursing assistant for 3 years and at the same time I studied nursing at the Lebanese university at the faculty of public health but I did not finish it because of family problems then I worked as an assistant head nurse for 2 years in the csu floor (cardio surgery unit) my role is to take the patient who has undergone cardiac surgery from day 0 (d0) until the patient is discharged to another department I know how to connect a patient to the respirator and I know how to adjust the respirator of all types I know how to extubate the patient when his breathing is good and he will be independent of the respirator I know how to read any variation of the scope whatever the variation of the ecg or the blood pressure or the pulmonary pressure, the saturation, I know how to do a gasometry, administer it medications on time, make the dressings in a sterile manner, I take care of the chest drain with asepsis, I know how to drain the blood and I know how to remove the drain after a medical order, I know how to put a urinary catheter in a sterile way and I know how to remove it, I educate the patient to use the spirometer several times to properly inflate the 3 balls and walk to avoid pulmonary atelectasis
