Coming from the Strasbourg region, recently retired trader, my wife will be retired in 2021. We bought an apartment, under construction in Vilamoura and want to live there for at least 6 months a year excluding heatwave periods. We will move into the apartment probably at the end of 2021. Make contact with the French community (or others) in order to build local links, and get to know the country, and the language so little that we have an aptitude for it. Golf is among other things our motivation for coming to the Algarve and I would like to know if there is some kind of annual subscription to a group of golf clubs at a reasonable price.
