Hello, my name is Jonathan Guernion, I am an IWS/IWT welding coordinator technician. I was born in Normandy and I am of Breton origin. After my scientific studies, I joined the French army in the 1st Parachute Hunter Regiment for 3 years. It was during this period that I discovered Andorra and fell in love with it. Every 2 or 3 weeks, I would spend a weekend there. Following Operation Barkhane in Mali, I was injured and discharged as an invalid. Physically I have almost nothing visible, but I can no longer run long distances like before. Since then, I have retrained in the world of welding. I first qualified as a professional welder 111, 141, 135, 136 and 138; then I worked as a temporary worker for different companies in Brittany and Normandy for almost 2 years. Wanting to know and progress further in this profession, I took the Yutz welding institute competition to become an IWS/IWT welding coordinator technician. Coming 1st in my promotion, I can now be a manager from the administrative framework of welding to reports and quality tests, while maintaining my dexterity on welds of all types. Currently, I work as an expert welding technician for the company FARMAN in Jou茅 les Tours in France. I have completed various projects in France and abroad in the context of automobile welding. 2 major jobs are keeping me busy at the moment, these are the construction and development of huge tools to weld the new ALSTOM TGV using automatic welding on 6005A aluminum preceded and followed by YAG laser stripping. The 2nd work is the construction and establishment of a macrographic research laboratory. I continue to enrich my experience, but my goal now is that when I reach my thirties, I will settle down in a place that I love and stay there. As I said previously, I love Andorra and am looking to see if there are any job provisions in quality manufacturing where I could thrive. This is my plan for the future, as well as to evolve later in the inspection and quality control of welds produced manually or automatically.
