My expat journey

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
COVID Made it impossible to travel back to NZ, so my partner and I set up shop here, I started working at the start of Jan 2021, but prior to that we travelled around a but and settled down to prepare for the birth of our first baby in December
Managing Consultant

Auckland, New Zealand
Lived and worked in Auckland, I spent a larger part of my time in Auckland and whilst it is a small city, it is the biggest in NZ, I spent my time working, networking with various industries and going around travelling with friends.
Recruitment Consultant
Auckland was my favourite city that i lived in for a long time, it had the big city feel in a small city, it was definitely going places! Auckland had a great work life balance, with getting to the city as easy as jumping on a train and tapping a card. Most are friendly in NZ as a whole, in auckland they are pretty outgoing, with everything from a casino, to nightclubs, to silo park for the kids, the harbour bridge and the vast northland to visit, not to mention the 90 odd beaches surrounding auckland and nature walks only ever a stone throw away, it really has something to tingle the senses of absolutely everyone!!
traffic!!

Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
Lived in Wellington with friends while on a career break
Didnt work
I actually didnt like this city
Small town vibe, not really much of a city, other than go to the bars and work, there didnt seem to be much to do

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Living and working in Melbourne
Sales Manager
Relaxed, vibrant city with multicultural acceptance, massive sporting city, easy to get around, friendly people, has something for everyone, only 3 hours from regional VIC so you literally can be anywhere, short flight to Syd, Brisbane, Adelaide

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Travelling around NSW on WHV

City of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland
Born and raised in Belfast
Worked in bars, Worked in Phones 4 U as a sales rep, worked for Vodafone and for Sky TV
Its home, where friends and family are
still very past driven, not a lot of change.
