I come from a very VERY small community, used to be town, in SE Arkansas, just miles from the Mississippi state border and the Louisiana state border. Ive always been somewhat of a city girl, with the spirit of a country girl. I love to explore, hike, be adventurous. I love animals. I moved to the "city" of Little Rock about 7 years ago. I didn't feel as if I fit into small town USA any longer. I like to be around different cultures. I wanted to be where my haircolor or cut didn't matter. I wanted to be where my children feel free to be who they want, not what society says they should be. We still have a long way to go, but that is why I am here. I want my children to experience the world the way I never got to as a child. I want them to grow up with kids of different races, cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, and all play together as if they were one. I think that is what our nation is missing right now. I am a free spirit. I would have no support system with two children, so I would like this community (expat.com) to help me decide what and where is best for us. I know the nursing profession can be difficult to assimilate into outside the US, so I am willing to do other jobs as well. I do have degrees in Social Work and Psychology. I am very organized, almost to a fault. I can handle chaos! haha Working with kids, or disabled, or even in the hospitality industry would be great! I just want to see what all is available to me.
