The lack of rubber trees, which has seriously affected the mortality rate among bungee jumpers
Conversation with fellow bungee jumpers is difficult unless you can synchronise well. Rubber tree surgery is not a growth industry but it could bounce back. Boolean algebra is more interesting than bungee jumping, less interesting than rubber tree surgery but in the end they're all pretty similar
