About
hello! I鈥檓 Heather and it鈥檚 my passion to travel and share the magic of exploring the unknown. At age 21 I spent months discovering what made me happiest and what I needed to do to cultivate happiness in my life. My first and most important goal was to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree, the second was to travel and the third was to surrender my life to the opportunities that present themselves to me.
My bachelor鈥檚 degree is in Integrated Studies with my emphases in History and Political Science. My long term goal is to be a college professor but before I trade in my impromptu lifestyle for a doctorial thesis I want to experience life. I strongly believe that education is most influential when it is firsthand and we are captivated by the experience.
If you had one piece of advice to give what would it be? Figure out what you want and learn how to get it. (and know how far you鈥檙e willing to go to get it) Through the years I continue to learn lessons about dreams, living in reality, priorities, dedication, courage and faith. Pursuing my dreams has proven to be a great test of self, faith and courage with unique moments of empowerment, enlightenment, passion, peace and love.
Interests: traveling, educaton, history, microfinance
