About

What to say? I am 27 years old, I finished my studies in occupational psychology a little over two years ago now. I think I am at a turning point in my life, I ask myself a lot of questions about my future and it turns out that it will not be in Belgium. I need to leave so that I can flourish in my private and professional life. I've been working as a cashier since I was 16, but I have to admit it's not what I dreamed of. My desire to leave is not recent, I have always had this need! When you feel at home abroad it's not always a good sign. I planned to be an au pair in London but I gave up for fear of failure, fear of leaving everything behind. Decision that I regret today. I was given responsibility very early on and today I am reduced to being afraid of leaving this comfort that suffocates me to try to lead a life that I think would suit me more. This is who I am, a young woman who dreams of going far away but who doesn't really know what to do, where to start... Since I registered, I thought I had achieved my dream, but once again I lost my way... To make it short, I had a plan with my friend and her father to move to the USA and more precisely to LA. He, director of a renewable energy company, had to take care of everything. For my part, I took a first career break of 3 months at my job. The months passed and nothing was moving forward... According to him, he had a plan B (the purchase of an Esthetic center franchise allowing him to obtain the green card). In November it will be a year since the pseudo project was launched. Since June I have been on a career break but still in Belgium and far from my American dream. I have often wanted to leave and see what my options would be, but the fear and the information found on the internet are discouraging. In September I would have to return to work... I would have lost 3 months of salary and I would find myself without legal leave until June 2014. But the hardest part is having touched a dream with my fingertips and finding myself today without any prospects for the future. Today I don't know what to do anymore
