My expat journey

Bergen, Norway
Tja, all well so far. Maybe spicing up my social life a little.
Kind of employee at the university.
You can live here a quiet live. No stress, pretty relaxed. Wonderful nature.
Obviously the weather.

Heidelberg, Germany
Going on.
Always university.
All that there.
Not so many things.

Texas, USA
Working, working, working at the UT.
Visiting Scientist.
Talkative and kind people.
Not too much culture. Limited scope of the people.

Stuttgart, Germany
Like always: Study, work, live.
PhD, post-doc.
What shall I say, it's my home country. So I like it.
Of course, there is something to complain about ...

Heidelberg, Germany
Back again to the nice small town.
Post-doc etc.
Still: Nice small town with many nice things.
Nothing found.

Heidelberg, Germany
PhD-student.
PhD-student.
Nice small town: Good life, good university, nice people.
Not really something.

Hamburg, Germany
Growing up, living, loving, ... all that.
Growing up there with all what you expect, i.e. family, school, fiends. Finally also university plus a degree.
Honest, direct people. Culture.
Weather is not too good, people are not too emotional.
