I must be honest I don't think I'm really in to this blog culture, however here we go. My partner and I ( sounds like the Queens speech)she is female in case of doubt, I hate the term partner. We have moved here from Northumberland England, reason, we love Austria and also my partners sons & wives live close by in Switzerland, not to forget the grandchildren. We are renting an apartment at the moment to see how things go, but honestly I can't see us going back it would have to be a real emergency,we are into car insurance at the moment, very expensive compared to the UK, any tips would be appreciated. I am a great Newcastle United supporter ( I realise there a pills you can take for it) anyone out there as mad as me?. thats all for now Jim

Any advice on car insurance in Austria, we have just bought a fairly new 1600cc Mazda and have been quoted 1300euro, we are both over 60,me +8 her+? with full 60% no claims which doesn't seem to count for much Read More

Collette dont bother in fact next week I am driving my Freelander back to the uk to sell, with all the taxes etc. in Austria where we have just moved to, it was going to cost in the region of 5.500eur. to keep the car here so if you havn't already ... Read More
